Despite the torrential rain, the residents, their children and extended families showed up. The discussion and feedback from this meeting was the basis for the initial concept designs created by HKS.

Residents gathered for the second community engagement event on the park design with HKS Architects in August 2021. During this meeting, the architects presented back to the community three different concept designs that were created using the feedback from the first meeting. Residents were asked to identify and discuss what they liked and didn’t like about each design, so that a final design can be created.
